Acts of Kindness #23

After running around this morning getting errands done, Dad and I stopped in Olive Garden for a little soup and salad. We sat in a booth in the bar area which was vacant except for us. The hostess had asked us if we preferred a window booth and with you in mind, we said sure. Our server, Lee, was quite pleasant and attentive.  Our bill came to a little over $20 and we had a $15 gift card that I had purchased weeks ago for one of the staff at Wesley Woods as a thank you, which you and I would often do. Sadly, when things fell apart I hadn't had the chance to gift the card. So we used it to pay our bill and had a balance due of just $5. We then proceeded to tip our server $50 with a note that read, "Pay it forward. Spread love and light. Thank you!"  We hurriedly left before he could see, but we would have given anything to see the expression on his face.  Happy Birthday, Rosie-Posie!
