"I was at our local Gondolier getting take out last night and decided to pay for another customer's meal. When I approached the couple in line behind me about paying for their meal, the husband immediately responded 'Absolutely not!' He was clearly suspicious at first and was argumentative until I briefly told him your story and of your birthday wish for 26 Kindnesses. After that, he and his wife looked at each other and heartily agreed to accept my gesture. I asked them to please spread the love."
